BBC To Televise Girls’ Final

The 2009/10 Oxfordshire FA (OFA) Under 14 Girls County Cup Final between Banbury Ladies & Girls and Oxford City Ladies & Girls will take place on Sunday 07 March at Witney Utd FC with a 14.00hrs kick off. For the first time in OFA history the final will feature a sister and brother refereeing combination with Claire Marsh being the referee and her brother Chris joining Michael Wheeler as an assistant referee. This appointment has created a lot of media interest and as such BBC TV (Oxford) are planning to attend the game and then produce a news feature that will hopefully be screened on the evening local news on either Sunday 07 or Monday 08 March. The Oxford Mail is also planning to run a feature on the occasion.
