The girls are North Lincs council’s Junior team of the Year!
Leah, Macey and Lauren represented the team at the awards ceremony at the Ancholme Leisure centre on Thursday, 10 March. They were surprised to be called up to the stage to receive the trophy and a certificate from showbiz star Tony Peers.
Macey told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: “We were so proud to win the award and it was such a great surprise.”
“The whole team is so excited about winning and the ceremony was lovely.
“We all love playing football so much!”
