On this website, you can meet the players read their match reports, see team photos, find out what they got up to at Skegness and Southport…and lots more.

About the team

The 2011/12 season will be the Raver’s fourth season together and I’m pleased to say that most of the girls who were in the original Ravers are still playing for the team today.

The reason that so few players leave the team is not just because we are successful on the field. It’s more to do with the fact that we’re a very friendly club and we adhere to the FA Respect Codes of Conduct.

In fact, we’re so friendly that we won the Lincs FA Fair Play award in 2011!

About the club

As part of Broughton Ravers JFC, a FA Charter Standard club, we have – and observe – a  number of policies and procedures.

Our playing time policy, for example, guarantees that our players play for at least half of every match – subject to a few conditions – and we have a strict Safeguarding Children policy.

And we don’t select players according to ability. Any girl who is aged between ten and twelve on 31 August 2011 is welcome to train with us and play in matches.

Would you like to play for the Ravers?

If you want to join us, ask your parents to contact the coach.
