Doncaster Rovers Belles will play Fortuna Hjorring in a friendly at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday 6th March (2pm).
Fortuna are over in the UK to prepare for their upcoming UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter final against ASD Torres Calcio later next month. Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
Belles manager John Buckley said: “We are delighted to have set up this friendly. Fortuna are a great side and I’m sure that it will be a good test for our young team. The Danes are packed full of international players who have progressed to the latter stages of Europe’s elite competition.
“It will be a fantastic experience to face such strong opposition and it will also give us an idea of where we are in terms of quality. We are looking forward to the challenge and urge fans to come down to watch the game which I’m sure will be a good advert for the women’s game.”
