Result 9-1
Team: Chloe H, Rhiannan, Lauren, Elizabeth, Leah, Macey, Chloe B, and Ami.

The girls finally booked their place in the cup final with this victory over Bottesford.
We were late getting to the ground (my fault) and only had five minutes to warm up. Consequently, the girls were a bit slow to get going but Macey soon opened the scoring with a hard shot from close range. Her goal gave the Ravers the boost they needed and from that moment the final result was really never in any doubt.
The highlights of the first half included Rhiannan’s tough and skilful play on the left side of midfield and Ami stepping in front of a Bottesford player to intercept a goalkick and score with a nice, firm shot.
Chloe H and Lauren also scored in the first half and Macey got another to take us into the break 5-0 up.
The second half went a similar way to the first.
Bottesford worked hard and deserved their goal but they had no answer to the greater experience and power of our girls.
In the second half Macey scored again to get her hat-trick and Chloe H, Lauren and Ami all hit the net to make the final score 9-1.
** Roll on the cup final – there’s a rumour we’re all going to the Dog and Rat for a beer afterwards :)
