Alex: Alex usually plays in defence with Lauren but has also scored several important goals. She tackles hard, has a really powerful shot, a great attitude and is particularly good at encouraging her team-mates.
Katie: Katie has just joined the Ravers. She is fast, passes the ball well, tackles hard and never gives up. I’m sure Katie is going to make a big contribution to the team.
Jodie: Jodie is a great dribbler of the ball and can score from anywhere. She’s played a lot of boys football and it shows – Jodie is tough and very skilful.
Hollie: Hollie has just joined the Ravers. She passes, tackles and reads the game well, has a great attitude. I’m sure she will be a big asset to the team.
Lauren: Our captain and a defender who terrorises opposing forwards. Lauren never misses a tackle, has a powerful shot and loves to score goals, often dribbling the ball from one penalty box to the other.
Chloe: Our top goalscorer this season with more than twenty goals in the league and cup. Always plays with a smile on her face and loves to be in the thick of the action, wherever it is on the pitch.
Leah: Leah is a strong midfield player who scores some very good goals too! Leah can also play in defence alongside Alex or Lauren and she improves with every game she plays.
Lucy: Lucy is in her second season with the Ravers. She has already shown a lot of determination and ‘spirit’.
Rhiannan: The smallest player on the team but has a big smile! Rhiannan has a fantastic attitude, she clearly loves her football and being a member of Broughton Ravers. Tackles like a terrier and scores goals too!
Misha: Misha is new to the Ravers team this season but she has settled in well. She reads the game very well and can play anywhere but is particularly suited to midfield.
Louise: Louise is also new to the team but she has already impressed me with her work rate and passing skills. Louise always plays with a big smile on her face and it’s great that she has volunteered to be our goalie.
Macey: Macey is a complete player – she tackles hard, is very fast, very strong, has a powerful shot and her work rate is second to none. I can rely on Macey to give a top performance in every match.
