The LFA Women’s Cup Competition was first contested in 1994 – 1995 season. In recent years the Cup has been dominated by Arsenal, Millwall Lionesses and Fulham.
The success of the Women’s Cup Competition has seen the number of entrants grow steadily and for the first time this year the London FA has been in the position to offer two County Cups for Women, a Senior and Junior competition.
The 2009/10 County Cup Final sees a repeat of the last two season’s finals between Arsenal Ladies and Millwall Lionesses, where Arsenal came out as the winners on both occasions. Millwall will be looking to get the victory this year, in what promises to be a close fought game. So why not come down and support the girls, and see some current and future England stars on show.
