Great Danes 1 West Ham 6
The Under 10s travelled away to great Danes today and gave another impressive display of attacking football in defeating Great Danes 6-1
The first half saw a very even game with both sides playing well, but the West Ham defence was in good form and this limited the Danes to only a couple of shots on goal in the first half, it was down to Kelly Wealthall to break the deadlock with a very well taken first goal that gave the Danes keeper no chance, this was followed by a goal from Megan Magee who again was outstanding on the left of midfield with this came the half time whistle and the young Hammers went into the break two nil up.
The second half saw the Hammers make the same mistake as the week before letting in a goal at the start of the half through lack of concentration, but with the Danes striking back the young Hammers pick themselves up and put in a second half performance to be proud.
Super sub Jasmine Reilly scored an excellent volleyed shot from a pinpoint cross from Carson Barry; from then on it was all West Ham with goals coming from Carson Barry then two well taken goals from Mia Seeley finishing the Danes off.
