West Ham UTD Ladies under 10 squad travelled to the Tiptree JobServe summer tournament and gave a very creditable performance playing up a year to last seasons under 10s squads, with the young Hammers entering two sides into tournament the west Ham A team reached the quarter finals with an excellent goal from Jasmine Reilly, there previous two games being 0 – 0 draws and only losing the quarter final on penalties it was left to the West Ham B side to carry the Hammers flag in to the final with two wins and a draw seeing them through, with six goals from Mia Seeley and two from Maddie O’Conner.
The final was a close affair with the Hammers going down by two second half goals, overall the girls from both the A and B teams gave very encouraging performances, for a team that has only had three training sessions together the outlook for the coming season is looking good.
