The girls completed their second successive cup final victory in this hard fought clash with Greenbank.
Broughton dominated the first half, creating numerous chances but having only Alex’s fantastic header to show for their efforts.
The second half was a much closer affair. Greenbank equalised after 10 minutes of the 2nd half before Phoebe put the girls back in front again.
Greenbank pulled level yet again just minutes later to leave the game finely balanced but the girls stepped their game up again during the final 6 minutes to score two more goals through Jodie and Chloe to finish a fantastic season on a high.
Credit should go to Greenbank for their spirited 2nd half performance but the girls deserve all of the plaudits they get for their efforts today and during the entire season.
