BROUGHTON RAVERS ARE CHAMPIONS FOR THE 5TH YEAR RUNNING!!!
Broughton Ravers girls won their 5th consecutive league title with this win today.
After a tough start against a very determined Park Tigers, the girls dominated the second half to run out comfortable winners.
After 17 games and 57 minutes a near miracle occurred………..the girls scored a headed goal!! And what a great header it was, Phoebe meeting a corner full on and sending a thumping header flyer past the keeper. And to prove that the girls really do listen at training, Alex then added a 2nd headed goal. Wow!
Well done girls. You’ve had a great season again. As well as being able to play good football, the girls have proved they can tough it out and get the results they need.
